Current situation and analysis of cemented carbide tools in China
In 2012, China's cemented carbide output was 23,500 tons, cemented carbide industry sales revenue was 20.9 billion yuan, cemented carbide exports were nearly 5,000 tons, exports earned more than 360 million US dollars, and the output of cemented carbide deep processing products reached 6,600 tons, accounting for one-third of the total output of alloys. By 2014, China's cemented carbide output reached 27,020 tons, and the industrial sales output value reached 30.686 billion yuan. Cemented carbide is mainly used in cutting tools, mining tools, molds and high-pressure and high-temperature cavity resistance, among which cutting tools and mining tools account for 33 and 25 of cemented carbide applications, respectively.

At present, China's cemented carbide tool manufacturing industry has both opportunities and challenges, but overall, the favorable factors of industry development occupy a dominant position. The special filler and magnet displacement technology developed by Zhengzhou Machinery Research Institute has filled the domestic gap, of which brazing materials have been popularized and applied to more than 700 enterprises, and magnet flux displacement technology has been applied to more than 100,000 induction brazing equipment, which has significantly driven the leapfrog development of the upstream and downstream industries of cemented carbide materials.
